About Productive

Productive is the software agencies and professional services businesses use to run their resources, projects and finances in one place. In May 2026 they launched Productive 5.0, their biggest update ever, bringing AI agents into how teams plan and deliver work.

The Problem

Productive 5.0 had a launch date that couldn't move, and the people it needed to reach, agency CEOs and operations leaders, are a small audience on LinkedIn that brand ads struggle to move.

The team had already tried reaching creators themselves and couldn't get replies, and nobody in-house had the time to run a creator program from start to finish.

Before launch, LinkedIn was bringing in 4 to 5 self-attributed leads a week, with nothing to show whether content was moving pipeline.

What We Did

  1. Built the roster around their buyers.

We mapped three creator cohorts to the people Productive sells to and took over the outreach, so the first creators were live within 12 days.

  2. Ran the launch.

15 creators posted around the 5.0 launch, each testing a different angle, with several posts apiece so the visibility lasted well past launch day.

  3. Turned the best posts into ads.

The strongest creator posts went into Productive's ABM lists as thought leader ads, at a cost per conversion 52% below Productive's other ABM ads.

  4. Kept it running.

After launch the program went always-on, with 50+ posts over five months and the creators who drove the most results booked again.

The Results

  • $197K Pipeline in five months, with $170K from creator thought leader ads, 26% of everything Productive's ABM influenced.
  • 58 Booked demos and trials from creator traffic.
  • 485K+ LinkedIn impressions from 50+ creator posts.
  • 30K+ Senior agency leaders reached, all inside Productive's ICP.
  • 20 LinkedIn self-attributions in the two days after launch, against 4 to 5 a week before it.

“We've seen roughly 5x more leads from LinkedIn than we'd normally expect, which has been huge for us. We were already seeing results within the first week. We managed to get everything up and running in about 12 days. I genuinely didn't think that level of execution speed was possible without sacrificing quality.”

What This Means For You

If you have a launch coming and a buyer audience too small for brand ads to reach well, creators put you in front of the right people on the day, and running their posts as ads keeps you there for months afterwards. A first program usually starts the same way: the creators your buyers already follow, one moment to build around, and the best posts carried into your target accounts.
